It’s got to be good for you. How Frucor Suntory is driving innovation and culture with Workplace

60 years since they first turned surplus export apples into the iconic kiwi juice brand, Fresh Up, innovation is alive and well at trans-Tasman drinks manufacturer and distributor Frucor Suntory. And, what better way to drive innovation than to harness the power of your people, whether they’re manufacturing the drinks, delivering them, talking to customers and consumers…or supporting the team, back in the office? That’s exactly what Frucor Suntory has done this week by launching Workplace from Meta to bring all their team members across Australia and New Zealand together in one place!

With email their principal channel for internal communication, many Frucor Suntory employees have been struggling to receive timely communication and looking for ways to provide feedback and valuable input into business decisions. Many Supply Chain team members don’t have access to a corporate email address and have been reliant on in-person cascades from their managers, adding to feelings of disconnection from the wider team.

“When we discovered Workplace and Enablo, we knew it was the platform we needed to bring our whole team together and our culture and values to life. The fact that our frontline people – like our sales and manufacturing teams – can access it so easily from anywhere, on any device, made Workplace particularly appealing,” says Emma Carter, Director of Corporate Affairs and Communications, Frucor Suntory.

“The past 18 months has been really tough for so many of our people affected by ongoing lockdowns and changing COVID restrictions. With Workplace, we’ll be able to support them by getting critical communications out quickly and easily, and giving our people a place to connect when they may be feeling isolated,” says Emma.

“Enablo know Workplace inside out, so working with them made the whole process from planning to launch really easy. We started out with their two-day Blueprint workshop which brings together key stakeholders from across our business, mapping out our employee experience and communications challenges, and how we might solve these with Workplace. From here, we had everything we needed to work together with the Enablo team and launch across the entire ANZ business,” Emma says.

Hugely supportive of the Workplace launch, CEO Darren Fullerton shares videos from his home in lockdown to offer his thoughts, seek feedback and make important announcements!

Frontline heroes are able to share what they’re up to and recognise the hard work of others in their team.

Fun posters across frontline sites, as well as direct, secure invites to frontline on their mobile device, are helping to drive adoption of Workplace.
