Ryan is originally from Ireland and moved to Australia in February 2023. He love languages and studied International Business at university, majoring in Spanish and Marketing, and grew up in the food and hospitality trade working and managing his family restaurant as well as working with larger hospitality companies. While working in the industry he realised that there are quite a few communication barriers between management and frontline staff which has lead me to helping companies overcome these challenges.
What is your nickname? Some of my close mates call me Horan (my last name)
What were you doing before Enablo? Before Enablo I worked at Salesforce, helping companies in the UK financial services industry improve their customer experience through digital transformation. While working with Salesforce I was also managing my family restaurant alongside my father and worked as a cook on the weekends.
What’s your vision of employee experience for the future? Employees are the heart of any organisation’s success. Everyday, we get to see the contributions that our customers’ employees make, whether that be ideas to increase efficiencies, product innovations or simply the brilliant customer experience that they deliver. This is fueled by fostering and nurturing a strong organisational culture and investing in the employee experience. It’s clear that employers are realising, more and more, the value of making that investment and, in my opinion, this will only increase in the future.
What excites you most about Enablo? Enablo is a great example of a company that practices what it preaches. While most of the team work remotely, we have a strong company culture which is underpinned by Workplace technology, allowing us to connect and collaborate seamlessly, wherever we are in the world. We also have brilliant leadership team who believe in and invest in the development of their teams and this is what excites me most about Enablo.
What’s the achievement you’re most proud of? A few things come to mind but I think that my biggest achievement is winning a karaoke competition in Madrid by performing Rock DJ by Robbie Williams.
