Harriet Muir

Harriet’s worked in marketing and comms roles across a number of industries including telco, geospatial technology, energy and insurtech. Particularly passionate about internal comms and employee experience, Harriet helped build the business case and launch Workplace at Origin Energy (an Enablo customer!). She’s seen the overnight impact Workplace can have on leadership, culture and comms and now she gets her kicks from raising awareness about the platform and telling the amazing stories of our customers. 

What’s your nickname? There’s been a few over the years, Harri, Hazza, Haz, H-bomb, Hatta, Harold. Harri is the only one that’s stood the test of time. 

What were you doing before Enablo? Cleaning spaghetti off walls and polishing up on my negotiating skills a.k.a, full-time parent to a toddler! Before that, I led marketing for Concirrus – an Insurtech in London.

What’s your favourite thing about working for Enablo? Every single Enabler rolls their sleeves up and is always so excited to help out. I’ve worked with individuals like that, but never a whole team. It’s pretty amazing. 

What’s your vision of Employee Experience for the future? One where value delivered, not hours worked, is rewarded. This gets talked about a lot but isn’t common. It takes brave leadership and new tools for transparent communication and ‘Working out Loud’. 

What is the achievement you’re most proud of and why? Training for and running my first marathon before my daughter Bella was a year old and while I was breastfeeding. It helped that it was in Queenstown (New Zealand) so there was beautiful scenery to keep me going!
